The APEC Climate Center (APCC)’s Climate Services and Research Division (CSRD) held a seminar to discuss and present the APCC direction for research and projects at the APCC headquarters on March 25th, 2019.

The seminar on CSRD’s direction for research and projects was held to share the objectives and contents of research and projects within the three recently reorganized departments under CSRD.

On March 18th, 2019, APCC reorganized CSRD from 5 departments into 3 departments as follows: Climate Prediction Department, Climate Analytics Department, and the Prediction Research Department. By doing so, APCC is expected to enhance and expand its core technology development capacity for climate prediction. It also hopes to position itself as an institute that specializes in climate-prediction, representing Korea and the Asia-Pacific region.
