APCC’ 2nd CLIK Training Workshop was conducted from May 31st - June 2nd in Jakarta, Indonesia in cooperation with BMKG, training 15 participants from Indonesia, Timor Leste, and Brunei Darussalam. The training workshop covered various aspects of seasonal prediction such as theoretical background, prediction methodologies, evaluation, and operations. Strengthening the capacity was done through the training of advanced climate prediction methodologies and practical hands-on session with Information Communication Technology (ICT)-based climate prediction tools. It increased the technical understanding and information available to NMHS's to implement and tailor national climate outlooks to meet the needs of respective users.
