Dr. Chun Jong-ahn, Head of the Climate Change Analysis Department at the APEC Climate Center (APCC), recently published a special contribution in the latest English edition of KOICA Magazine (2026 VOL. 8).

The article explores how an AI-powered agricultural information system is transforming the lives of farmers in Vanuatu, assisting them with everything from planning planting seasons to weighing crops.

The piece highlights the core achievements and vivid, on-the-ground changes brought about by the Vanuatu Climate Information Services for Resilient Development Project (VanKIRAP), an initiative that the APCC has been implementing since 2018 with backing from the Green Climate Fund (GCF).
