APCC has worked in collaboration with University of Hawaii on a cooperative research project entitled “Development of an APCC Operational ISO MME System and Investigation on Arctic and High-latitude Influences on East Asian Climate” from June 2011 to March 2012.

Prof. Bin Wang and Dr. June-Yi Lee will visit APCC from 12 to 14 March 2012 to give a final presentation of this research project. Prof. Bin Wang will also give a seminar and consultation during his stay at APCC. Along with the final presentation of this research collaboration, Dr. June-Yi will transfer the ISO prediction system over to APCC. Dr. Baoqiang Xiang will also visit APCC form 12 to 23 March 2012 to set up the UH Hybrid coupled model and conduct a test run.
