The APEC Climate Center (APCC) hosted the APCC–UNICEF East Asia and Pacific Regional Office (EAPRO) Learning Event (hereinafter, the “Learning Event”) on November 27, 2025, in the APCC building, with representatives from both organizations in attendance.

UNICEF supports a wide range of initiatives and humanitarian activities aimed at strengthening climate resilience among vulnerable regions and populations, including Pacific Island countries. Building on APCC’s climate expertise and experience, UNICEF seeks to explore and identify opportunities for collaboration with APCC in the climate sector.

In this context, the Learning Event was organized to lay the foundation for future cooperation by sharing APCC’s ongoing climate crisis response projects in Pacific Island countries and UNICEF’s regional initiatives.
