The "Busan Regional Meteorology and Climate Development Council Workshop (Government-Academia Collaboration)", jointly organized by the Busan Regional Office of Meteorology, Pusan National University, Pukyong National University, the Korea Institute of Ocean Science and Technology (KIOST), and the APEC Climate Center (APCC), was held on June 17, 2025, at the International Conference Hall of APCC.

On this day, each institution introduced its weather and climate-related responsibilities, followed by a discussion on the future operation of the Busan Regional Meteorology and Climate Development Council Workshop (Government-Academia Collaboration).
