Ms. Sangwon Moon, head of External Affairs Department & representative from the APEC Climate Center (APCC), attended the APEC Policy Partnership on Science, Technology, and Innovation (PPSTI) meeting between 26 and 28 August 2019 in Puerto Varas, Chile.
PPSTI is an APEC working group consisting of government personnel from APEC member economies and experts in science and technology from the academic world and the private sector. It is the primary forum that supports the development of science, technology, and innovation in APEC.
At the meeting, APCC networked with science policy researchers from the APEC member economies, discussed APCC activities, and submitted a progress report on the APEC Climate Symposium 2019 held between 20 and 22 August 2019 in Punta Arenas, Chile.
APCC shared information about its diverse projects with experts in science and technology from APEC member nations and discussed key issues regarding science and technology development in the Asia-Pacific region.
