Dr. Seungsoo Lee from the Prediction Research Department, APEC Climate Center (APCC), delivered a visiting career guidance lecture for Buheung Middle School (BMS) students at the career activity room in BMS on 28 August 2019.

The lecture entitled ‘Researchers who learn and give to others’ was attended by 16 students from BMS.

The students learned both how mathematics that students are learning is applied in the real world, and what roles researchers, who create knowledge, should have.

Dr. Seungsoo Lee introduced to the students the knowledge and personal qualities required to be scientists. He also discussed the rewarding nature of being a researcher with the students.

Dr. Seungsoo Lee 's visiting career guidance lecture was held both to strengthen the contribution of APCC to the local community as a public institution and to provide an opportunity for students to explore future career paths.

The BMS students who attended this visiting career education lecture gained knowledge about APCC and careers related to science and research.
