14 international students in the Hallym-Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) Scholarship Program (SP) visited APCC on 15 November 2019. These students are government employees and citizens of KOICA’s Scholarship Program target countries.
Ms. Bo Ra Kim, Senior International Project Manager in APCC, delivered a presentation introducing APCC’s research, projects, and international collaborations. The students showed high level of interest in APCC’s climate information through interesting questions like what types of downscaling methods are used in APCC, and how to get in touch with APCC regarding potential collaborations in their countries.
Hallym University is currently operating the Hallym-KOICA Scholarship Program to develop expertise in climate change response policy for government employees in target developing countries.
