Dr. Seontae Kim from APCC received a commendation for 2025 World Meteorological Day from the Minister of Environment of the ROK government.

The award citations was given to people who have made significant contributions and dedication to the meteorological and climate sector.

World Meteorological Day, celebrated on March 23rd each year, commemorates the establishment of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) and highlights the importance of meteorology, climate, and water resources in promoting global well-being.
