The Climate Information Services for Resilient Development Planning in Vanuatu (Van CIS-RDP) project is a project funded by the Green Climate Fund, implemented by the Vanuatu Meteorological & Geohazard Department (VMGD) and Secretariat of the Pacific Regional Environment Programme (SPREP) in partnership with APCC, the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO), and the Australian Bureau of Meteorology (BoM). The project seeks to support climate resilient development through the development, communication and application of Climate Information and Services and will be implemented from 2017 to 2022.

The Agriculture Focus Group Workshop was held to understand climate services for agriculture with respect to climate risk adaptation and mitigation using climate information, to collect local-specific crop growth information and coping practices, and to identify climate risks through exercises with the Crop Climate Calendar and the Decision Making Table.
