오는 12월 15일, APEC 기후센터 기후응용서비스개발팀의 한정민 박사가 일본 Saga 대학교에서 개최되는 International Conference on Convergence Content(ICCC 2012)에 참석해 "The Design and Implementation of the Polar Satellite Remote Sensing Data Analysis System"라는 제목으로 연구 결과를 제시한다.

한정민 박사의 발표 abstract은 아래와 같다.
 

Satellite remote sensing techniques are invaluable to help in understanding the global environment. Recent advances in satellite remote sensing technology can provide numerous high quality remote sensing data to users. However, usage of this satellite remote sensing data requires high-level understanding of the structure of data handling and computer skill. Dr. Han has implemented the Polar Satellite Remote Sensing Data Analysis System (POSRA) at the Korea Polar Research Institute (KOPRI) for users who lack understanding of satellite data processing.
