노르웨이 Bioforsk의 Dr. Attila Nemes가 오는 6월 16일 APEC 기후센터(APCC)를 방문한다. Dr. Attila Nemes는「Bioforsk's Division of Soil and Environment and Its International Portfolio」라는 주제로 오후 2시부터 APCC 2층에 위치한 국제회의실에서 세미나를 주재한다.

The Division of Soil and Environment is one of the research divisions of BIOFORSK, the Norwegian Institute for Agricultural and Environmental Research. The Division has several research groups that focus on Soil and Water Quality, Land-Use and Management, Bio-Resources and Environmental Technology in broader terms. In the last 5-6 years, concerted effort has followed a management initiative to strengthen Bioforsk’s international profile and involvement. The Division of Soil and Environment is currently the most successful Division of Bioforsk in this respect, being successful in securing projects and relevant funding from multiple funding agencies, and being involved in collaborative research in a wide range of research subjects on five continents. This presentation by Attila Nemes, a senior scientist at Bioforsk, is intended to give a quick introduction to BIOFORSK, summarize the Soil and Environment Division’s international portfolio, and provide brief highlights of some of the completed or ongoing projects, with special emphasis on Bioforsk’s involvement in Asia and in the subject of climate change.
