I 2017 APCC-ASEAN Disaster Management Final Regional Symposium
The APEC Climate Center (APCC) held the APCC-ASEAN Disaster Management Final Regional Symposium on the 4th and 5th of December 2017 in Jakarta, Indonesia. The Symposium was held as part of the ASEAN Science-Based Disaster Management Platform (ASDMP) project funded by ASEAN-ROK Cooperation Fund (AKCF). AKCF serves to support the cooperative development between ROK and ASEAN. During this project, APCC developed a web-based platform (ASDMP), enabling the effective integration and management of information on disaster research across ASEAN nations. By employing this platform and easily using the information on disaster research across ASEAN, disaster management officers in this region can effectively implement disaster research management and support policy establishment.
