APEC Climate Symposium 2012

The APEC Climate Symposium (APCS) is an annual event, held since 2005, that brings together around 100 scientists, representatives of National Hydrological and Meteorological Services, academics, policy-makers and students from around the world to discuss emerging issues in climate prediction and its applications. The APEC Climate Symposium 2012 was held in St. Petersburg, Russia from October 8-11, 2012. The theme of the symposium is Harnessing and Using Climate Information for Decision Making: An In-Depth Look at the Agriculture Sector, co-hosted by the Federal Service for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring of Russia (Roshydromet) and Voeikov Main Geophysical Observatory (MGO).
