APEC 기후센터 기후변화연구팀의 윤선권 박사가 한국수자원학회 2013년도 우수학위논문상을 수상했다. 윤선권 박사는 서울시를 대상으로 기후변화에 따른 도시수공구조물 설계 기준 마련 및 수방 전략 수립에 기여할 수 있는 “기후변화에 따른 도시하천의 홍수위험 및 취약성 분석에 관한 연구”를 수행하고 박사논문을 기술하였다. 또한 윤박사는 수자원 분야와 관련하여 여러 논문을 발표하고 유명 과학 저술지에 제출한 상태다.

한국수자원학회의 우수논문상은 당해 졸업생 중 유명 저술지에 논문이 게재되고 훌륭한 연구업적이 있는 연구원들에게 주어지는 상이다. 윤선권 박사는 “Analysis of Hydraulic effects on Piers and Transverse Overflow Type Structures in Urban Stream” 논문으로 2009년도 한국과학기술학회 학술대회에서 우수 논문상 등을 수여한 바 있다.
