The Busan Metropolitan City, The Busan Regional Meteorological Administration, the Busan Development Institute, and the APEC Climate Center have formed the ‘Busan Climate Change Consortium’ to effectively respond to climate change in Busan through collaboration between climate-related organizations since 2021.

The Busan Climate Change Consortium hold the Busan Climate Change Forum every year to share climate change science and policies with public, private, academic institutions and citizens in the region. In particular, it seeks ways to practice carbon neutrality with Busan citizens and provides a communication platform to implement climate change actions. The Busan Climate Change Consortium is making efforts to jointly respond to the climate change related issues in Busan.
