The subjects and discussed contents from the APEC Symposium 2018 (APCS 2018) were introduced by the Bulletin of American Meteorological Society (BAMS).

 

APCS 2018 was held from 21st to 23rd Aug. 2018 in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea (PNG) to discuss how to enhance climate information and services in order to link between sciences and actions for reducing climate risks. The topic of APCS 2018 was ‘Overcoming the Challenges of an Uncertain Future with Enhanced Climate Information and Services’.

 

The Meeting Summary of APCS 2018, co-authored by Dr. Daeha Kim, Dr Jong Ahn Chun and Dr. Seon Tae Kim from the APEC Climate Center (APCC), was published online (https://doi.org/10.1175/BAMS-D-18-0327.1) by BAMS on March 8th, 2019. The topic of the meeting summary is the same with that of APCS 2018.
